These terms govern your use of thymecomb.com and any order you place with us. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.
Who we are
Thyme & Comb sells raw comb honey harvested by Hüseyin & Kadriye Dinç above Yastık village, Erzincan, Turkey, and imported into the UK by a registered importer under the correct animal-product health certification — see our Import & Certification page for details. The nature of our product
Our honey is raw, unpasteurised, and cut directly from the frame rather than spun or blended. This means: colour, crystallisation, texture and cell appearance will vary naturally between batches and seasons; weights are approximate and individual pieces may vary, typically within around 10% of the stated weight, since each comb is cut by hand rather than manufactured to a fixed specification; and any purity or process statistics shown on our site (raw percentage, forage sources, feeding period, and similar) describe our production process, not medical or health-benefit claims. None of our product descriptions are intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness.
Important health and allergen information
Honey, including comb honey, must not be given to children under 12 months old, due to a rare but serious risk of infant botulism. The comb, wax and honey may contain natural traces of pollen and propolis; if you are allergic to bee products, pollen, or propolis, or are pregnant or immunocompromised, please consult a healthcare professional before consuming. It is your responsibility to check this guidance before consuming or serving our product, including to others.
Orders and acceptance
An order confirmation email confirms we've received your order, not that we've accepted it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example due to a pricing or listing error, stock unavailability, or a suspected fraudulent transaction — in which case we'll notify you and refund any payment taken in full. A contract between us is only formed once we dispatch your order.
Pricing and availability
Prices are shown in GBP and may change at any time, though changes won't affect orders already placed. Combs are sold in strictly limited, individually numbered batches; once a size sells out for the season, it is not restocked until the following year's harvest — see our Sold Out Archive. Where a size is marked as available on backorder, this is disclosed at checkout, along with the fact that it will ship once stock becomes available rather than immediately.

Returns and refunds
See our Refund Policy for full details, including the food-safety reasons we can't accept returns of opened or consumed items, and the statutory rights that remain unaffected regardless.
Wholesale and trade orders
Wholesale enquiries are handled individually; any additional terms agreed directly with a trade buyer take precedence over these terms for that order.
Intellectual property
The text, photography, branding, and design of this site belong to Thyme & Comb (or its licensors) and may not be copied or reused without permission, other than for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this site — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your order, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order.
