Wild Mountain Comb Honey
Raw, individually numbered comb honey harvested by Hüseyin & Kadriye Dinç above Yastık village in the Erzincan mountains, Turkey — roughly 1,900m elevation.
The bees are Carniolan (Apis mellifera carnica), fed a light sugar supplement only during the spring survival window. For the rest of the season they forage naturally on wild thyme, astragalus and mountain wildflowers.
Every frame is cut by hand, not spun in an extractor — nothing added, nothing extracted. What you receive is the comb exactly as the hive built it.
Sizes
Each comb is sold as a genuine cut portion of the frame, not a separately blended product — the size you choose is simply how much of that same comb you're taking home:
- Small — Sample Piece: a taste-sized cut, ideal for trying the honey for the first time.
- Medium — Quarter Comb: roughly a quarter of a full frame.
- Large — Half Comb: roughly half a full frame.
- Full — Whole Comb: an entire cut frame, uncut and complete.
